Living with Grief: Improving Dying (pre-recorded teleconference)
Description
Hospice Foundation of America’s pre-recorded program highlights creative interventions and adjunct evidence-based strategies used to assist dying patients and their intimate networks find meaning, value and comfort. End-of-life care providers will share insights into programs such as pet therapy, art and music therapy, and the use of virtual reality. These approaches enhance the dying experience by improving quality of care, positively shaping the perception of care and helping to ease the burden of grief. There is no cost to attend this program but registration is required. Free CE credits (2.0 hours) will be available online.
