Coping with the Loss of a Loved One Due to Coronavirus

COVID-19 has had a significant impact on the entire community and the ways people are grieving. Families who have lost a loved one due to the virus are experiencing a mix of emotions, and coupled with social distancing, they may be feeling even more alone. The Pathways Center for Grief & Loss, a program of Hospice & Community Care, is hosting a virtual support group led by Master’s-level counselors for individuals who have a lost a loved one due to the Coronavirus. Limited space is available and the group is open to anyone regardless of whether their loved one was served by Hospice & Community Care.

The virtual support group will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays, July 15 and August 19 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., and provide a safe place for individuals to talk with others who are also grieving this type of loss.

Interested individuals should contact the Pathways Center at (717) 391-2413 to request the Zoom log-in address or phone number.
